Meratus Line intended to deploy mobile harbour cranes to Anggrek Port to support their container handling operations. To do this they needed to confirm the strength of the quay. They also needed to review the operations within the port to fit the cranes into the operation effectively. Seaport were appointed to undertake a detailed engineering and operating review of the port. This included a detailed inspection of the structures. An assessment of the existing operations. Preparation of a schedule of the remedial works required. Seaport also developed a new operational process to be used at the port after the cranes have been deployed.
